The County Courier Editorial Board is making no endorsements for the March 19th Municipal Election in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Our team reached out to every candidate on the ballot in the city, providing them with a questionnaire to submit for endorsement. The questionnaires were due Monday, February 19th, 2024, and was extended for several days. No candidate in the West Broward suburban city completed the questionnaire. We don't provide endorsements to candidates who don't ask for it. The short questionnaire allows us to review candidates' qualifications and their fitness for office. If they don't put in the work to earn our endorsement, we don't give it. We urge the residents of Pembroke Pines to research each candidate on their ballot thoroughly and make the best decision for themselves. The County will publish candidate bios and information on the different campaigns throughout the remainder of the election, and will boost this information via paid ads.
The County’s editorial board consists of Elijah Manley, and Luc Saint-Genies. The views expressed are often, but not always, the position of The County and its writers.
